The "Love Rocks" Tour

Have you ever noticed how many songs there are about love? We sing about all kinds of things - about yesterday, about holidays, and even about teen spirit. We've got ballads about dancing queens and expensive things, and lyrics about places where streets have no name. Yet, nothing seems to trump our interest or ability to sing about love.

Love is hard-wired in our system. The Beatles claimed, "All you need is love." What if - deep down - this is really true?

 

Welcome to The "Love Rocks" Tour.

My name is Page, and I am working with the youth for a year in Australia. Using graphic design, photography, and writing, I promote Destination Life, an outreach band of CRAM (Creative Arts Ministry).

CRAM is a division of Campus Crusade for Christ, and the band, Destination Life, runs a concert tour through high schools in the Sydney area.  Playing alternative and Christian music, the band asks questions about life, share stories about their lives, and illustrate how those changes came about through knowing Christ. They invite students to know God personally during each performance. When they are offstage, the band hosts Bible studies and joins in active relationships with the students. 

With graphic design, writing, and photography, I promote the band and get them more school appointments. But I also work directly with students and in Bible studies as well.

In the last 2 performances, 150 students have indicated they'd like to know more about God and 80 students have come to know God through this ministry. To find out more about my story or this mission, please see the "Who We Are" tab.
